This is a photographic series which builds an image-based discourse about the limits of a territory marked by the abrupt cut-out of a plateau landscape and of the limits of an ordinary anonymous territory, shared by the plain landscapes, slope and sea, which enchants for its genius loci.
This photographic narrative in 6x6 medium format about the European extreme southwest of the Costa Vicentina, in Portugal, aims to share a context with a specific natural beauty, characterized in its limit by the absence of limits.
The images reveal an ambiguity in the plastic (in)definition of topographic limits, atmospheric limits; of non-boundaries, of plain, of sea and atmosphere. The images revisit a population scarcity still possible within the southwest limits of a touristic Portugal.
