From adversity to happiness

My work is a series of checkerboard-style mosaics that overlay two images, one in dark tones and the other in light tones, representing two facets of real volunteers who have overcome adversity, tragedies and serious illnesses and who wanted to share their testimony through photography to positively motivate those who have to face similar situations. The technique is mixed applying digital and analog photography in black and white.
