Invisible women is a project focused on condition of women , who are almost invisible in society. they are widows who have been abandoned by their families. This is the reason behind why most find peace in staying along with own kind, and try to discover divine pleasure in sorrow. She wears white, a traditional color for Hindu widows, who are devoid of pleasures like wearing colorful clothes and suppose to stay away from celebrations like marriage and child birth, rejected as inauspicious and seen as a burden. The holy town of Vrindavan in India is home to these widows in big number, who have been abandoned by their families and left alone in the world. The place where Lord Krishna grew up, these women in white, struggle for survival. Various social organizations have come forward in support and providing facilities for the better life of these women in white across Vrindavan.
But a long way to go. Social awareness will play a key role for inclusion of this folk in main stream with respect and dignity.
