A journey between the bedrooms of fallen IDF soldiers, created a profound discovery of the simplicity and the silence that were left within those rooms. The remoteness created by all the official commemorative memorials has dissolved, and in their place, I found an intimate, simple and tangible bereavement. My photographs are not meant to be another official memorial monument. They show what has been left behind, the simplicity and the quiet. The bedrooms of Yuval Dagan, Omri Shahar, Tal Segev, Bnaya Rubel, Evyatar Turgeman and Bar Rahav.
