Winter Morning at Maidan

Fog is an interesting thing in true sense to work on. Foggy weather in early morning at Kolkata maidan is such an interesting thing to work on. Normally December to February these three months are termed as winter season in Kolkata. In these months a huge fog is seen at early morning in Kolkata maidan. Sunrise through extremely foggy weather and activities of people and horses makes a beautiful environment in true sense. I have started this project in 2018 , in the month of December. Actually in Kolkata December and January these two months are the winter season and in these two months fog is often seen in the early morning. In my opinion dense fog in the early morning creates an essence of poetry and visual aesthetics. So by this project I tried to communicate with that poetry in my every individual image. Dense fog and activities of people in the early morning through dense fog is something which is very eye appealing. As I said earlier that fog creates poetry in the environment and activities of people in dense fog adds an aesthetic value in the frame. I tried to use fog as the main subject of the picture whereas there is human presence in every frame but fog played a major role in creating the entire project. Yes , it is an aesthetic expedient. Because fog added an aesthetic value to the every individual frames and from that aesthetic point of view in poetry has been added to the project.
