Via Pola 136' is the address of a building a few metres away from the sea in Torvajanica, a shoreline near Rome. Here Syria and Filimon spent more than a month’s vacation together. Friends from the first day of first grade, they will attend the second grade this year, of course in the same classroom. This is a diary of their days spent between sea, water, jokes and explorations of a new and fascinating place for them. I can imagine their eyes looking at these images in a few years, maybe when their life paths will be well defined but not necessarily separate: the amazement, the melancholy for the time gone by and for a summer spent together by the sea a long time ago.
