VIVERE//LIVE

Live! In 2019 I was given the opportunity to go photograph all throughout Italy. While shooting the project, I started noticing themes and sequences come to life in the photos I took which ended up surprising me a bit as I was not expecting that come to life till after the trip. When I got back and had the photos developed and scanned, I saw the potential but they ended up just sitting and I dropped the project for a time. After the COVID pandemic 2020/2021 I re-approached the project realizing that the potential of this series had grown significantly after Italy had been hit so hard by the pandemic. I picked the project back up and I started putting together sequences and ideas for a book series. These 10 photographs are a few selects from that project. Currently the books being designed in a set of 3 and will go into production with Sheridan Press. I loved seeing Italian pride. It's in their food. It's in their language. And I can see it in the way they live their lives every day. It's beautiful and I really believe it is the thing that will help Italy quickly recover from the disaster of this last year.
