Zero Avenue, a quiet semi-rural neighbourhood on the border., became a bustling focal point as the Washington State park across the ditch became the only place in North America where people from both sides could gather. Over the course of the pandemic as more and more people learned of this, the neighbourhood became filled with cars and people.
I arrived here as we went into lockdown to care for my elderly father-in-law and had a front row seat on Zero Avenue. We watched the people, the events, the seasons of the park. All of these images were taken on a two block stretch along Zero Avenue.
