Honu
In the Honolua area of northwest Maui, the Green Sea Turtles, called Honu by the ancient Hawaiians, have persevered through decades of habitat reduction. These images from a multi-year project document the turtle’s lives, and the mesmerizing, wave-scattered light that falls on them.
