South Sudan: Our Side of the Story

14 portraits of South Sudanese who escaped the conflict, now in America working as supermodels (Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, etc), actors (2 co-stars of Reese Witherspoon's upcoming movie), and humanitarians. Many of the subjects featured are former refugees and child soldiers, now using their influence to raise awareness for their country. This project was achieved in collaboration with supermodel Nykhor Paul, working to end the circle of violence and exile. The 14 portraits were displayed in large format, 64"x48" as a solo exhibition in downtown New York City in April 2014
