On the Other Side

Windows and doors, whether going in or going out, offer us views into the places where we are not. They spark the imagination to ask what is on the other side? Is it better? Is it worse? Is it dark or mysterious or bright and heavenly? Which side are we better off on? The other side always holds new potential. It can offer us the hope of something different, perhaps something better. It can bring us forwards or backwards in time and in space. These photographs are some that invite the viewer to the other side, to imagine what that side might bring.
