I mostly shoot black and white on 35mm and 120mm: all of the submitted photos are taken on Ilford’s XP2 a c-41 film. I employ underexposure and look for a natural ‘spotlight’ within the frame. Observational work and more candid street photography are fun areas to explore this method. I like to explore themes of vulnerability and comfort, and contrast the two. Whilst I haven’t found a set niche (in content or style) - I actually don’t want to have found one yet, perhaps if ever - I’m enjoying the challenges of new styles and subjects as well as ways of formatting and presenting of my work.
