Bienvenidos a la Vida

In June of 2021, during the height of the Covid pandemic, musicians Gina Madrid and Yrak Saenz-Orta gave birth in Oakland, California to two new beautiful twins, Edgar and Jorge. They were surrounded by love from three countries: Cuba, Mexico, and the United States. I was honored to accompany them as they ushered new life into the world with the support of an amazing nurses, everyday heroes. Life is a miracle, truly.
