On the Way to Santa Fe (and Back)

These photographs were taken during May and June of this year. My daughter was moving to Santa Fe, NM from our home in the Adirondacks of northern NY, and I went with her, towing a trailer with her belongings. After leaving her in Santa Fe, I did some exploring with my newly modified for infrared shooting Fuji X-100 camera. My original intent on this trip was to travel further west and take my time exploring backroads in New Mexico, Arizona and Utah, in particular. However, after only a few days in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado, my back was telling me that I couldn't take much more time on the road. The end result is that this series is smaller than I had hoped to achieve. It won't be long before I'll be visiting my daughter in her new home, however, and I will be working hard to achieve more of what I wanted this time.
