Charrería de Colima

These images are just a few from an ongoing study, working to capture the beauty and timelessness of the Charrería community in Colima, Mexico. Described often as 'living history', my aim is to capture images that offer unique glances into the culture and sport, as it understatedly takes place almost year round all throughout Mexico. Charrería is a stunning preservation of some of the richest traditions, values and of course visual beauty to be found in Mexico- from horsemanship, to authentic dress and the overall community that, to this day, has maintained their tradition for generations.
