"For a time I rest In the grace of the world and am free
— WENDALL BERRY
This meditative project came about when I was confronted with the potential loss of my husband. I found myself in a liminal space of distracting thoughts as fear played tug of war with hope. (I’m grateful that hope won and healing ensued over time).
Seeing the blurred landscape paralleled my own sense of life out of focus. Proving The Best Is In Front Of Me came as I observed the sprays of cascading water — created by pasture irrigation — which obscured the impressive Rocky Mountain terrain. As I gazed at the water’s sweeping transformations, I was able to embrace the present moments that were full of solace.
