Strand

How the branches of a tree develop in space, how plants locate themselves in a meadow, clouds in the sky, sand on the beach: patterns that show the forces and dynamics in nature that are the opposite of chance, but rather illustrate inherent regularities. Images emerge that do not necessarily correspond to our aesthetic needs. Too complex, too chaotic. This field of tension of aesthetics interests me. Wie sich die Äste eines Baums im Raum entwickeln, wie sich die Pflanzen auf einer Wiese verorten, Wolken am Himmel, Sand am Strand: Muster, die die Kräfte und Dynamiken in der Natur zeigen, die das Gegenteil von Zufall sind, sondern inhärente Gesetzmäßigkeiten verbildlichen. Es entstehen Bilder, die nicht unbedingt unseren ästhetischen Bedürfnissen entsprechen. Zu komplex, zu chaotisch. Dieses Spannungsfeld der Ästhetik interessiert mich.
