Blackness

This work, shot in August and titled "Blackness" depicts the beauty and power that the black hair, also known as 'Afro' carries, as well as the means at which we go ahead to care for it. Blackness which happens to be my very first conceptual project also serves as an inspiration and call to action for black people and every person of color to wear their hair confidently as it is a major part of their identity.
