In the African continent, every child conceived into the world one way or the other gets raised not only by their immediate parents, but also collectively by members and inhabitants of their community.
In this part of the world, Africa, a huge percentage of parents and guardians almost never worry about hiring nannies nor caregivers because members of their communities are always ready to take care of their neighbor's offspring should the need arise, even going ahead feed and care for them for days in need be just like their own.
Like the popular saying "it takes a village to raise a child", this series visually represents and the projects the said adage; with the hands surrounding both child's face representing that of those who have collectively contributed towards raising them into the beautiful and joyful little humans that they are growing to become.
