OCTOGON PROJECT - FIVE HINDRANCES

Work in Progress : FIVE HINDRANCES / SEVEN STEPS OF AWAKENING Two Octogons are currently being set up in my studio space in Duesseldorf to house 12 handknottet carpets (240 cm x 360 cm each). Based on a series of photographs from a 100 meter long wall in Bodhgaya / North India, the place where Buddha found enlightenment, the installation is envisioned to arouse inner images reconnecting with layers of consciousness before conditioning occurred.
