With Florilegium, I am collecting excerpts from personal experiences that illustrate the narrative mechanism of vulnerability. I entered into a relationship with myself by producing and receiving the art, feeling and evoking at the same time the emotion I was experimenting. I choose to express individual state of soul, uniting with the self and the artist, embracing vulnerability. By creating these experiences I separated and isolated my expression from resistance to ordinary world, giving to the viewer something he should care about. Beyond the consciousness of
myself, there is the inner feel of expression, where the control over details is lost. Florilegium is the place where worries, obsessions, frustration, arguments, inability, suffering, thrill and desire come to life. Being fully human—imperfect trying to be perfect, conflicted trying to be rational, and simply sincere—helps me trace a path into the life of my reflective self.
