During my childhood & even after I had a child of my own, my family's primary way to play was via a variety of board and card games. Monopoly, Clue, Chess, Gin Rummy yes, but coming from a family of writers with vocabularies as well-developed as their sense of humor, Scrabble was a huge favorite. Those hours we spent together were filled with raucous laughter, fierce competition and just as fierce a love. My parents and grandparents are gone now and I sorely miss those wonderful times of togetherness & play.
