Do you know that feeling when you dive in water and the outside world doesn't exist anymore? You can't hear it as clearly as before, and suddenly, the outside world stops drowning your thoughts. You feel your body, your heartbeat, the bubbles coming out of your nose, water brushing the hair in your arms, and if you could breathe, you would hear the muffled rhythm of the air.
Like water being shaped by a glass, as women we have always been obliged to become shaped by society’s rules. But what if we were able to choose what contained us? What if instead of a glass of water we chose to be the ocean?
