Fragments of Moments Past

The digital manufactured encroachment of nature is ever increasing. While it invades all aspects of our lives, it’s also beautiful and enchanting. Profoundly changing our natures. The work reflects various photographs that I have taken merged with others from family’s albums. I then use modern technologies to effect the image. The images explore the technological innovations that change human perception, advancing, stretching, and regressing the fabric of society. The archival photos used represent a time when our issues of today were not present. Time repeats in odd ways. These images explore our visual language, representation, fabrication, time and our personal relationship to our environments.
