Reflections

"Sometimes the river is the bridge," solo exhibition by Olafur Eliasson held in June last year at The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. The theme of his artwork is a natural phenomenon understanding the way we perceive the world around us. It's his installation lighting from the back, and see those shadows appear on the wall in front of you. << What is happening to you right now, happened to happen, what is to come next >> 2020 While capturing how people who visit his exhibition reflect their shape, I saw many expressions that how they moved to happen shadows appeared by lights behind them. Just standing, nothing to move, having fun with the lights without caring about the shadows on the wall, chasing the shadows by their movements, and me like watching their acts from the back. Facing up to the very next future reflects your actions right now; what you do, build the next, and create the future you design in your mind. I see a little girl in the picture.
