Where do we draw the line between what’s concrete and what’s intangible in our representation of the physical space? What is the place of human interventions or interactions in what surrounds them on a daily basis? Is there an intimate dimension in our relationship with our environment?
I question the visual perception of my environment in order to reinterpret it and find abstraction within its confines. My objective is to find unique correspondences between my eye and the elements that exist around me. With that process, I explore themes like solitude, introspection and photographic memory. The images that I produce are intimate and dreamlike.
This is an ongoing project and visual exploration.
