“Photographs of Guinea-Bissau” constitutes a body of work created between February and March 2014 in the context of an international scientific research project on climate change, in Cantanhez National Park in southern Guinea-Bissau, and in Bissau.
Focusing on the country’s diverse landscapes, its fauna and flora, traditional materials and people’s portraits, this exhibit’s goal is to share with the audience the incredible cultural and natural wealth of Guinea-Bissau through images and narratives.
My instinct and objective is to contribute to unite Lusophone “brothers”, and I hope that this exhibit will make the public want to discover more of the Lusophone panorama in all its linguistic, geographic and cultural diversity.
This exhibit includes a self-published book.
