When I returned to Las Vegas after an 11-year stint in San Diego, it seemed that the desert landscape had less to offer visually. So I turned my focus from plants, flowers and pets to people and portraiture. Here is a selection of friends, family, Applebee's waiters, Target cashiers, ex-boyfriends, internet connections and a few offspring of the aforementioned.
