"Homage" is a series of portraits recognizing the great photographers of the late 20th century, including Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Victor Skrebneski, Horst P. Horst and Herb Ritts, each influencing my photography.
In March of 2020, my work in portraiture ended. Covid-19 and it's social distancing wouldn't work with my portraiture as it depends on being feet from my subjects.

Of all the alternative processes cyanotype is the simplest to learn and execute.
Cyanotypes are immediately recognizable by their vibrant Prussian blue tones.
My work involves techniques with multiple steps including applying multiple layers of sensitive solution, multiple exposures, bleaching and toning making it look anything like a traditional print.
