The goal behind every photo I take is to expose the authenticity of my subject. A person, an animal, objects, nature, architecture each have a story to tell. Sometimes my job isn't to necessarily tell that story but to get the viewer started with questions. What is that? Where is that? Where does this go? What is he thinking? I want my audience to look beyond the photo or more accurately deeper. I try to accomplish this through close-ups, unconventional angles and unique cropping. Forcing my viewer to focus. To zoom in with me and see those details that are often missed. The art and the beauty are in those details. Working in natural light, I try my best to bring out the subtlety of my subjects. To quiet to noise of what's happening around. The authenticty is there if we look hard enough and I want my photography to help take that first step.
