From finish… to the beginning We shut ourselves away from the outside world, stronger and harder each and every day. (1,2) We put on masks of many kinds, which are true or fake. “The more perfect a person is on the outside, the more demons they have on the inside.” - ( Freud) Emotions, feelings, our real faces are caged inside. Because of that, we become more hermetic, anonymous and isolated. I strongly disagree! I do not accept this! The end is near… Although the end is a beginning… always. I am after the open, purified world. Where our conveniences are broken. Primordiality of a human and subconsciousness. I desire their freedom. The face has to be their expression - of the truth, clarity and simplicity. Portraits (3,4) give me relief. For me, they are the unbreakable part of the absolute - the perfect being.
