I was the subject of a documentary about Chinese photographers - the only foreigner in the group - each of us was given a subject. Mine was Beijing. Having lived here 18 years, my sense is that the city has changed - taller buildings, nicer cars, wider roads - but the people have not. So, here's a photo of that.
