Kars, is the farthest and coldest border city, reaching to Russia in northeast Turkey. No wonder the author named his novel “Snow”. Because only that white blanket can change a city this much. Wrapping it with a mysterious silence... People in Kars got used to cold, snow and ice. Snow has became a lifestyle. Everything is shaping up with it. Or loosing its shape with it. Life becomes a pure white blanket. Minus 35 degrees C is so ordinary, even coming across people wandering around the city streets is totally normal. The story starts with a stretched limousine under a blue canvas covered with snow, just next to a wedding hall. From the nicely wrapped one, except for a ribbon, to the hopeless one, at least until summer, like its metal skin frozen rock hard... Lots of cars.
