Developing an Idea

This handmade book project explores the process whereby the elements of an image come together and gives a 'nod' to Magnum's book elucidating the use of Contact Sheets. I always liked the image on page 18 and didn't recall until recently how I had approached it. As I keep an archive of contact sheets for my work on film, it seemed the perfect project for my first handmade concertina book prepared in this instance for a sculptor friend of mine celebrating his 75th year.
