My work often talks about what people choose to do for a living. I gave five images from four photographic book projects of mine. I am drawn to the independent and the eccentric human subjects. The use of color is not only a visual aid in telling a story but it also gives a visceral experience to the audience. I am privileged to know many of the subjects personally. These are archetypal humans living their best lives in circumstances where the odds are against them.
