'La Vecchiaia - Old Age'

This series of photographs was created to depict women in old age. It is the autumn of life, that gradually turns to winter. But in its complexity it turns up memories, reveals strength and maturity, as well as frailty and vulnerability. Each face, depicted in black and white, tells the story of a woman's life set in a scene of nature, of colour, providing an allegory to some aspect of each woman's state of being.
