City Vacation

This photo series explores how rapid urban development and globalization influence our lift style. These photos were token in Beijing, China, however, some of the surroundings, such us food in grocery store and "wework" logo, blurs the physical location. It emphasizes the conflict of ideal vacation and the urbanization by depicting an emotionless woman wearing the bikini and standing-still in the urban scene. The surroundings are everyday life but the awkwardness of the figure creates a tension between the reality and the dream-like environment.
