PrOUTboys

'PrOUTboys' is an ongoing photo project in which Ilvy Maijen photographs gay- and trans young people with the aim of stimulating and inspiring others to be themselves and to gain more understanding through their stories in the hope of broader acceptance. During the shoot, she encourages them to show themselves and tell their story.The portraits show both vulnerability and inner strength, a combination that, in Maijens opinion, is inextricably linked.
