Medium

In this series of portraits, three colleagues from different parts of the world in an online meeting and, I, photograph the medium. Whether through belonging, reception or alienation, all reveal complementary aspects of this game of simulacra. They are portraits as if I could reach the limit of a photo of the transmission, of the representation, a "photo of the photo". Trying to contribute to the current that think about the proliferation of images, I seek a vision for this new age of shadows that we live, outside the Agora, as in a fort. No longer focused only on a first or second dimension of image production, subject and object, the self and the other, but as well on a third, the medium, the media. We live and represent more and more distanced, in parallel and virtual worlds, cut off from "the reality", which, by the way, never existed.
