Showgirls without Show

"Showgirls without a show" is a photographic staging on a documentary basis. Aesthetically enhanced, SHE is shown in her usual or chosen surroundings during the lock down in Berlin 2020. A homage to the WOMAN in crisis, who created her own show in her created living space, which has been silent for too long. Each individual is the actor of her own show. The boundary between truth and staging blurs, from the cafe owner to the burlesque dancer, performer and yoga teacher. They are all affected by the crisis. The series started in 2020 with a self-portrait. Through the perception with the camera, I show a stage in times when everything lies fallow and let her be alive in words and pictures. Ever since I was a student, the rise of femininity has been a recurring theme. It's about her and the change in the world that has escalated in recent years.
