Burton Street

I am a support worker at The Burton Street Foundation, a non-profit daycare service for adults with learning disabilities in Hillsborough, Sheffield. I get the pleasure and privilege of being able to take photos of my clients going about their day, usually unposed and taken as quickly as possible when the opportunity presents. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, I often don't get to share the pictures outside of the workplace, but have been given the opportunity to do so now. Our clients are all wonderfully human, complicated and joyous, shy and gregarious in equal measure, deserving to be seen...
