Within her hybrid photography series Mother Goddess, Eylul Ezik delves into the mother goddess culture and uses hair, historically a symbol of dignity and power, as a temple. While voluminous, curly, long and braided hair symbolize the great power and creation of the Mother Goddess; the miniature people embracing it explore the commitment shown to that very power. Combining analog and digital images, Ezik plays with norms and creates captivating, thought provoking collage images.
