Re-Interpretation of Pomak Bride

Placing the human face and perception of beauty at the center of my works, in my series Pomak Bride,I reinterpret the make-up and adornments of brides in Pomak culture. This make-up tradition of Pomak brides, known as 'writing faces', identifies with my fascination with faces and beauty as a medium of expression in her works.
