Massene

Massene´s story is similar to that of the many african migrants trying to make it to europe; He finally made it to spain through working on a fishing vessel. I met him in the streets of Barcelona while looking for a black model for a personal projec. Massene rejected being photographed but the case is he was in precarious living conditions and he ended up staying with me and my partner for 8 months. He now has a job and legal status, and as we became good friends, we managed to pull a session and capture his essence.
