HERITAGE: CHILDREN OF BRUGES

"PART OF THE GAME": my ongoing project about life, death, vanity, heritage, dreams and future. We enter and will vanish at some time. There is struggle to grow, to achieve, longing for love, wealth, importance. we lose, we share, we care, we hate and even kill, we create and we abandon, we worship, retreat or watch in joy or disparation... at the end nothing really matters except we had hopefully left few traces in some person´s hearts. ....Only very few, outstanding persons leave an imprint in human collective memory, be it even in a fair and good or in a bad way. That´s the game. In the enclosed series "HERITAGE: CHILDREN OF BRUGES", I happened to meet some playing school children who where running back and forth to all the paintings, to find hidden subjects, listet by their teacher: Suddenly I realized their FACES .... and: they agreed to played with me and their historic ancestors and cultural heritage. ..for a short time, they had to go back to their school....
