My work is mostly urban based. I find my inspiration on the streets where I search for the unexpected. Objects call to me - a rusting pipe, a stack metal peeling walls or a splash of color.
Influenced by abstract art, my work is about patterns, light, color and textures. I look all around but mostly in - a practice I term "eytesolate". I tend to get in close, crop carefully and shoot straight on.
More recently, I have been experimenting with abstracting the natural landscape since I am living out of a city part of the year. I am working on a series called Swampscapes.
