Malta is an island that has had many conquerers and rulers over a thousand years. Each sought to establish its own "new" kingdom. The legacy of this history is a beautiful place where history is present in every day life, and the landscape holds echos of the temporary nature of past kingdoms and becomes a springboard to a vision of ephemeral fantasy.
