The size of rice

In 2022 I had an abortion. I was 34 years old and the mother of two. Even though we made the decision after thorough consideration, feelings of shame and disapproval were omnipresent - it was not the people around me who were judgemental, it was me. Some say that, nowadays, people think too light about abortion. Abortion is never easy, or light. No matter the reason or situation. I made this series in support of other mothers who are in the same position, and who also made one of the most difficult decisions there is. I am showing them they are not alone. I made this series because even though it was difficult, I am so grateful I have been able to make this choice, while it is taken away from so many women in the world.
