Series 8

Series 8 explores the tension between still and precise foreground images of desiccated tropical leaves juxtaposed with color saturated and dynamic backgrounds. The leaves are "posed" to emphasize their anthropomorphic qualities which I hope may elicit an emotional response to their gestures or expressions and to the strong color fields in which they are suspended.
