Feminine Archeology

FEMININE ARCHEOLOGY - ​Project initiated together with art critic Magda CÂRNECI (poet & art critic) in 2000, produced with the support KulturKontakt, Austria. The artists selected a number of women cultural personalities from Romania and invited them to participate to the project, in two ways: answering to a questionaire and accepting to be photographed by Aurora KIRALY, in their own work space (studio, office). The exhibition took place at the International Center for Contemporary Art Bucharest, in 2001.  The project guests were: Ruxandra BALACI, Geta BRĂTESCU, Ioana BRĂTIANU, (the only which did not answer to the questionaire), Magda CÂRNECI, Mariana CELAC, Irina CIOS, Maia CIOBANU, Laura GRÜNBERG, Aurora LIICEANU, Raluca IANEGIC, Anca MANOLESCU, Mihaela MIROIU, Amelia PAVEL, Simona POPESCU, Sandra PRALONG, Marilena PREDA-SÂNC, Doina ROTARU, Cristina SABAU, Monica SPIRIDON, Saviana STĂNESCU, Simona TĂNĂSESCU, Alexandra TITU, Roxana TRESTIOREANU, Gabriela TUDOR.
